INCREDIBLE project shares inspiring 'green and success stories' on non-wood forest products (NWFPs) in the Mediterranean Forests.
Cork, resins, wild mushrooms & truffles, wild nuts & berries, and aromatic & medicinal plants are the main characters of the videos below.
INCREDIBLE Partners and stakeholders tell their success stories first-hand, share knowledge, experiences, lessons learned, challenges, etc. All this to show that non-wood forest products are an important source within the bioeconomy in the Mediterranean forests.
INCREDIBLE Green tales could also cross borders and be told in other regions of Europe and the world!
Also, the INCREDIBLE Green Tales gather the most innovative ideas selected from the INCREDIBLE Open Innovation Challenge (OIC). Those ideas get a great potential to increase the environmental, economic or social value of Mediterranean non-wood forest products.
Last but not least, high-level speakers of the INCREDIBLE Policy Forum offer 8 pechakucka presentations on ensuring the supply of wild and semi-wild forest products and for fostering transparency, competitiveness, and equitability of NWFP value chains.
The videos are organised by cork, resins, wild mushrooms & truffles, wild nuts & berries, and aromatic & medicinal plants.
Enjoy!
The INCREDIBLE project aims to show how Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFP) can play an important role in supporting sustainable forest management and rural development, by creating networks to share and exchange knowledge and expertise. ‘Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin’ (INCREDIBLE) promotes cross-sectoral collaboration and innovation to highlight the value and potential of NWFPs in the region.
‘Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin’ (INCREDIBLE) project receives funding from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement Nº 774632
