INCREDIBLE project will be presented at an event organised by the the European Union’s H2020 Euraknos project, an online conference that will be held next 15th October (10:00 am – 12:00 pm CEST), coordinated by the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain (USC) in collaboration with the European Forest Institute (EFI).
The event is entitled “EURAKNOS Project Cross-Exchange of Knowledge on Agroforestry – Agroforestry and climate change innovations” and is aimed at spreading and sharing scientific knowledge on agroforestry and climate change innovations linked to Thematic Networks and Operational Groups within the EU framework.
The agenda will be structured in different sections in which the EU-funded AFINET (Agroforestry Innovation Networks) project will be presented, focusing on the development of thematic network aimed to foster the exchange and the knowledge transfer between scientists and practitioners in agroforestry, as well as the INCREDIBLE (Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin) project aimed to develop value chains within the field of non-wood forest products (NWFP). These sessions will also be accompanied by the presentation of European agroforestry and forestry operational groups and other further developments concerning the Euraknos project.
The event will include an interactive session (using online voting tools such as Mentimeter) to learn about participants’ opinions on how to promote thematic networks in the agroforestry field and how they can be preserved over time. Register now!
