If you haven’t submitted your pitch for the INCREDIBLE Open Innovation Challenge, you still have time, but hurry! The application process will close at the end of August.
From 2017, experts from across the Mediterranean have been engaging with a broad range of stakeholders on how to create value for Mediterranean non-wood forest products (NWFPs). They have identified several knowledge gaps and potential challenges through international workshops and seminars involving stakeholders from across the region.
The INCREDIBLE Open Innovation Challenge (OIC) gives you the opportunity to provide innovative and creative ideas which could fill these gaps. We are looking for people with a vision of how to increase the environmental, economic or social value of Mediterranean non-wood forest products (NWFPs).
Once all applications are received, the five most brilliant ideas will be selected. OIC winners will be invited to attend the INCREDIBLE business acceleration programme, designed by our partner Etifor together with an international team of leading forestry, business and NWFP experts. This 10-day intensive training course, held at the Agripolis Campus (Padova, Italy) will be free of charge, with travel costs covered by the project. Participants will have the opportunity to boost their ideas thanks to seminars, support from mentors and experts for coaching, and targeted workshops.
Can your idea provide a solution to the NWFP challenges identified?
