The Spanish Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA) organised the first Interregional Workshop of the Resins iNet last January 2019 in Madrid.

This two-day event of the INCREDIBLE Thematic Network on NWFPS combined a seminar about the state of art and the natural resin sector’s requests.

Check also in the page Resources of the Resins iNet the presentations of this event linked in the report of the meeting.

This Interregional Workshop was organised by our partner National Centre for Forest Ownership (CNPF), from France. The meeting was held at Bordeaux (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France) on 5-6 March 2019. The two-day event combines seminars and workshops in which members of the entire natural resin value chain participated.

The partners of INCREDIBLE project met in Padova (Italy) on 3th and 4th December for their second General Gssembly, in which they took the pulse of the development of the first year of this project, which aims to create a series of innovation networks in non-wood forest products in the Mediterranean basin. For two days, the work carried out so far was analysed through round tables, dynamic sessions and meetings of the working groups in charge of the tasks of this H2020 project, which includes 13 partners from eight different countries.

Tardelcuende (Soria, Spain) hosted the first Resins iNet ‘Science to Practice’ day in October, on the 23rd. The event was organized by the Resins iNet to demonstrate the advances on the mechanisation and organisation of resin use. Throughout the event, the innovation challenges in this field were analysed by public and private research entities, who presented their proposals for innovation, both in the field of extraction and in collection, or logistical control of resin collection operations.

The Resins iNet Scoping Seminar was held in Valladolid, Spain, on 8 and 9 May 2018. Here is a small graphical review of the meeting of both days, in which the iNet took its first steps.
