This Science to Practice, that will be held at the University of Corsica (Université de Corse Pasquale Paoli), is an opportunity to present the situation of this natural wood resource, its sustainable management and the threats with climate change. There will be also roundtable discussions about the issues in R&D and economical valorizations.
This one-day event will close an art residency contest on cork after which the winner will have been awarded with being hosted for one week by the University of Corsica allowing the artist to use different types of technical and innovative machines in order to perform his/her project using cork.
The event is organised by our partner CNPF (in particular by its delegation from Corsica) and co-organised with the University of Corsica and SylvaCoop the forest cooperative.
The programme is available here and download the presentations.
