With this trip (from 16 July to 18 July) we wanted to offer the opportunity to know experiences and professional productive models of different and diverse aromatic and medicinal plants that can serve as real examples in the ambit of production of aromatic and medicinal plants. Attendees visited different farms that produce dry herbs and essential oils, large quantities of commercial raw materials and sell them in bulk, and to others that produce smaller quantities and produce final commercial products that are distributed directly by theirselves.

Tunis hosted the first Science to Practice event in Tunisia about natural ressources management and biodiversity conservation in the sector of AMPs. Various participants attended the event: from key stakeholders, to researchers, PhD students, and people interested to create their own business to produce essential oils... This meeting was also addressed to AMPs collectors, managers and policy makers. The INRGREF (National Research Institute for Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry) organised this Science to Practice event for the Aromatic & Medicinal Plants iNet, and was held on 16 January 2019.

Aromatic & Medicinal Plants iNet organised an Interregional Workshop in Seville (Spain), from 28 to 30 November 2018, in which attendees continued working on some aspects that emerged in the Scoping Seminar in Tunisia such as organization of the wild harvesting, social and economic implications, traceability and certification of the wild collected A&MP, evaluation and quantification of A&MP as a wild resource to be exploited, and implementation of the Nagoya Protocol, among other themes.

The partners of INCREDIBLE project met in Padova (Italy) on 3th and 4th December for their second General Gssembly, in which they took the pulse of the development of the first year of this project, which aims to create a series of innovation networks in non-wood forest products in the Mediterranean basin. For two days, the work carried out so far was analysed through round tables, dynamic sessions and meetings of the working groups in charge of the tasks of this H2020 project, which includes 13 partners from eight different countries.

The Aromatic & Medicinal Plants iNet Scoping Seminar was held in Tunisia on 27 and 28 June 2018, hosted by our partner in this country, INRGREF. Here is a small graphical review of the meeting of both days, in which the iNet took its first steps.
