Catalonia hosts a 'Science to Practice' event focused on mushroom hunting regulation in Spain

A new Science to Practice event of Mushrooms & Truffles will be held on 19th November in Solsona (Lleida) at the headquarters of the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC), organiser of the meeting. It is aimed at forest owners, managers, forest policy makers and also students, who will have the opportunity to know about different examples of mushroom hunting regulation in Spain, aiming to discuss their legal framework as well as the opportunities derived with their application.

Sharing knowledge from lab to field, from science to practice

The H2020 INCREDIBLE project continues its work to foster the spread and exchange of knowledge related to non-wood forest products (NWFP) in the Mediterranean basin through five “Science to Practice” events that have been held in different partner countries. The events are organised as a one-day meeting to present some of the most recent lines of research and field experience supporting innovations in NWFP sectors.

Wild Mushrooms & Truffles seminar shapes the direction of a new innovation network for the sector

Representatives of the Mediterranean value chain for Wild Mushrooms and Truffles held an international meeting in the Spanish regions of Castilla y León and Aragón on 19 – 20 June.

The Scoping Seminar was attended by researchers, technicians, policy makers, public administrators, mushroom pickers and processing and trading companies from Spain, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece.

O projeto INCREDIBLE – Redes de inovação em: Cortiça, Resina e produtos florestais comestíveis, para a região Mediterrânea; promove inovação e colaboração sectorial cruzada, para salientar o valor e o potencial dos PFNL na região.
