The Union of Mediterranean Forests (UNAC) and Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA) are organising the online seminar 'Cone and pine nut: challenges and opportunities' on 14 December, which will address some issues related to forest certification and its legal regime as useful tools to improve the pine nut value chain.
The UNAC highlights the enriching participation in this meeting of specialists from the sector linked to other forest nuts such as almonds and chestnuts, which will serve to learn first-hand what lessons can be learned from their experience.
The event's programme can be consulted here and those interested in obtaining more information can contact Alexandra Correia (alexandrac@isa.ulisboa.pt).
This seminar is the result of the joint organisation between the INCREDIBLE project and the Operational Group FERTIPINEA.
